Croatian born Monika Krznar is a New York based photographer with an innate talent for her chosen art. Her talent encompasses an international range as the very essence of her relationship with photography deep-seated with her love of travel, the arts and human relations.

 

Her creative journey began in New York. As an aspiring dancer, Monika was determined to grace the stage of the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. Her journey, however, took an interesting turn while at a dance session. She caught sight of a little girl attempting to place her tiny foot in her mother's ballet shoe. Upon realizing that the mother of the little girl had missed this beautiful moment, Monika seized the opportunity and captured the precious instant in a still that was profoundly beautiful. The still shot bespoke of a daughter connecting with her mother’s art, life imitating art. It was at this very moment that Monika Krznar realized what was her calling, what she was truly meant to do.

Not only is Monika Krznar committed to her art of photography, she also has a vested interest in international philanthropy. She works closely with many charitable organizations and is active in the independent film industry. Monika worked with one of the bigest names in the entertainment industry such as Beyonce, Chanel Iman, Gerald Butler, Jessica Biel, Tyson Beckford while contouring famous photographers and working closely with them representing Patrick Mcmullan Company. Monika has been described to '.....give everyone and everything their spotlight….'
